Independent and adventurous. You don't want much; just to break out of the guilded cage society has put you in and experience life to the fullest. Following orders isn't really one of your strong points, and you would rather live a life of poverty than being forced into something that you hate.

Just got home...
SNOW PATROL ROCKS!! I just got back from seeing them in Tulsa at the Cain's. It was sooo great! They sound amazing live. It was well worth the drive to and from Tulsa. A group called Embrace opened for them. They were pretty good too. I didn't know any of their songs, but I did enjoy hearing them. Dennis went with me. He said he really enjoyed it too, which I was really glad about. It was so much fun!
It was really good to spend some time with Dennis. We had a great night of conversation and laughs...as always. It was great to talk to him so honestly. We had some time to kill before the concert began so we walked around a little. It was interesting to hang out w/ a Texas boy in the middle of Tulsa. We had fun.
I wish I could write more. Maybe it's just because I'm tired. I don't know. All I do know is that I am completely addicted to Snow Patrol (I will definitely have to see them whenever they are around) and Dennis is a great guy. Not many friends would risk getting yelled at at work to spend a night at a concert that they weren't completely familiar with. He's an awesome guy and someone who will definitley come through when it counts. Yay for friends!
Well, 'til next time...
Okay...so I just remembered something from tonight that I had to post. I was telling Dennis the I've come to terms with my Liberalism. "You have?" says my dear friend. "Yes" I say. I realized that I can't deny it any longer and that I am not 'middle of the road' as I once claimed to be. Dennis informed me that eveyone already knew this about me...'why didn't I realize it'? lol, quite entertaining. wow, who knew...I'm a Liberal! :) 'til next time...

Proof!!
This is me...
BOLL WEEVIL (Feb 20 - Mar 20) You have an overwhelming curiosity. You're unsatisfied with the surface of things, and you feel the need to bore deep into the interior of everything. Needless to say, you are very intense and driven as if you had some inner hunger. Nobody in their right mind is going to marry you, so don't worry about it.
This is hilarious! esp. the last line!

| You Are Ichabod Crane From "Sleepy Hollow." You're a deep thinker - most times logically. You're a bit of a neat freak and a wuss (hey, you do faint a lot!) but you do have the ability to overcome your fears and come out stronger in the end. And you never lose your head over things. Back in 10...
So, this seems to be my state of mind at the moment. I'm not really all here, or so it seems for the past few days. Things have picked up, but I'm ready for December. So sad. Back in 10...What can I say? Usually, this time of year I'm freaking out, calculating my grades, trying to figure out what I can make on my finals to maintain my grades. Overachiever, right here...I wish I could fastforward to 5 years from now. Maybe by that point I would be finished with grad school and then part time workind on my phd or psyd. (not really sure at the moment.) This has to be one of the most random entries yet...
So, a friend asked me today, "where do you see yourself in 2 years?" Kind of an odd question...I guess because of the "2 years" factor. Geez, I wish I knew. All I had to say, was hopefully in grad school. I swear it's the theme of today. I was making dinner and got back to my room and saw I had missed a call. Well, turns out, it's been 10 years since I've been in high school. geez...I knew it had been, but it had slipped my mind for the time being. so sad when classmates contact the class president asking, "so what's going on for the reunion?" and all I had to say was, "honestly, I hadn't thought about it." geez, slacker written all over my face! So, now on top of my already crazy schedule I have to plan this wacky class reunion. Yes, I said wacky. Anyway, I guess it wouldn't be so stressful if there was some place to actually hold the damn thing in Jay. Unfortunately, there's not. We don't even have a bar. We barely have a city park. lol, it will work out. I have faith...wait, it kind of rests in my hands...scary.
Besides my crazy glimpse of the future and past all at once, life has been good this week. Last week, I could have cried several times, but what's the point? This week, not too bad. This past weekend was the medieval fair. It was fun. I went twice, lol. Saturday I went with Aaron, Payam, and Zainab. That was fun. Of course, the four of us could have fun at a golf tournament...ugh, heaven forbid we ever have to prove that. Anyway, we hung out there for a bit then Aaron and I ran some errands, had dinner, and finally went home. Sunday, I went back to the fair with Kamilah. She cracks me up. It was fun. She is another person who can have fun anywhere. Which will be tested this weekend when she goes with me to OBU. I'm kind of excited to see Benny and Jonie, but going back is just blah at the moment. Craziness...
Wow, just got the stats from the Yanks game. They lost! I'm so sad. Apparently my boy, M.Rivera, isn't doing so hot. He blew another save! But it is the beginnning of the season, so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. A-Rod on the other hand, he just pisses me off. I would love to send him back to Texas. That team can definitley have him back.
I think I need to get some sleep. I can't really think of anything else to write about except, life is shaping up. It's good. I can't think of anything that is so terribly wrong that I have to overdramatize it. lol. So...'til next time...
