and so it begins...again

Today is Friday. I did absolutely nothing. I have been so bored this week, my job ended a few weeks ago and now I have an incredible amount of time on my hands---that is, until Monday, when classes start again. I s'pose it will be okay. I'm actually really excited about this semester, I have some good classes, although only 2 of what i need, but it will be fine.

My roommate finally moved in this week. it's been great having her around--she's a lot of fun and very cool to be around. I think that's another reason why I'm so excited about this semester. For the past year, I have been so depressed and disappointed in everything---but now things seem to be looking up, at least in some areas.

Benny called me tonight, he cracks me up. Definitely one of the most random people I know. It was kinda weird b/c I've been thinking about calling him all week, but I couldn't remember what his schedule was like right now, so I've been putting it off. Speaking of random phone calls, Doty called the other night, after I sent him a text message. It was around 2:30 a.m. lol. Coincidentally, he was up. I had a slight case of insomnia--i think just boredom leading to thoughts about everything and then to the inability to sleep. ~Anyway...it was a good conversation with that boy, although by the end of it I was more awake than when I sent the message and it was around 4 a.m. by then. Needless to say, I shoulda contacted someone not so lively. but it was good to talk to him, not that I will be lacking the opportunity anytime soon, seeing as he is moving back to OK and attending OBU again. Good for him---he seems happy. I realize not everyone understands this, but I do, sort of, seeing as how I just made a turn around in my life as well.

Well, I s'pose I've learned a few lessons over the summer. One, be careful who you depend on (although I already knew that one, it was just reiterated). Two, enjoy time by yourself because it is very precious and few and far between. Three, do what makes you happy---you may never have that opportunity again. And four, if you want to get somewhere in a hurry, ride with Tami, although do not follow her unless you want to chance a speeding ticket. Fun times this summer---full of all kinds of education, although none of it got me any closer to graduating. ;) Well, 'til next time.
