2 months!!

Okay...so, I went to get my final degree check today. Yay!!!! Everything is in order...I have my minor...I just need to remember to apply for graduation in a few weeks. I guess I just get a little paranoid when I'm this close to actually achieving something. I went for a degree check in March (?), I went this summer, and today I was back for yet another. It just kinda freaks me out. I've never been a prepared person (not for good things anyway). I just wanted to make sure that everything is how it is supposed to be and that there aren't going to be any loose ends---'oh, sorry, you are lacking one credit hour'---yeah, how bad would that suck? I actually had this conversation with this friend of mine. She's actually kind of in the same boat. She's only taking 6 hours this semester and is on the verge of graduating. We agreed that it's just a weird place to be. Of course, she kind of know what she's going to do...sort of...at least she has a creative idea. I'm just livin. I'm okay with that.

I also had a conversation with another of my friends today. She was randomly on campus and we randomly ran into each other. It was funny. Although, I don't get why everyone thinks that in order for people to be 'happy' they have to be in some sort of a romantic relationship. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with being in a relationship, but that is not what the epitome of happiness is for everyone. Honestly, I think it would put me right back where I was desperately trying not to be last month. As a good friend of mine has rubbed off on me, I'll just say, "I'm good, thanks."

Finally...today was my nephew's 13th birthday. Wow...I can't believe he's 13! It amazes me. It seriously just seems like not long ago he and his best friend were pretending to be Lane Frost. lol. Yeah, he'd seriously hurt me if he knew I was writing this. I swear time flies. I am so proud of this boy. He is turning into such an amazing young man. That just scares me, lol. He's such a cool kid. I'm excited about going home this weekend for his birthday celebration. I can't wait to see everyone. Yay!

Well...'til next time...
