Home

Wow, I just got home. I am so exhausted. This weekend was so busy, but so much fun. I went home to see my family and to hang out with my nephew, who just turned 13. Crazy. It was so much fun! But I didn't leave there until after 5 p.m. And then I had to go get stuff ready for PA tomorrow night. Crazy.

Anyway, while I was at home this weekend, my friend had her baby. A little girl---Brycie...something. oops. Anyway, I'm not sure what I think about this name. I was a little worried about Brian's baby's name (Quincy), but the kids belong to them, so what can ya do? ;) Anyway, Matt and Boone are very proud, as they should be. How sweet. Now, only my sister is left. I can't wait!

I just checked my score for my capstone midterm that I had last week. I actually pulled a 94. Wow. Maybe she had mercy on me. It was such a nervewracking test. But now I'm a little scared about my T&M test b/c I felt confident about that one...we'll see.

On a side note...I've decided to start telling people either I'm already married, or I'm a lesbian. Neither of which is true...but I swear, if one more person asks me about my "romantic life," or tries to set me up...I will either scream or hit them. Why do people assume that in order for a woman to be happy they must have a ring on their finger and a kid, or one in the oven. I swear. And people wonder why I don't come home as much...hmmmm! I know, I know...best of intentions...but it's just not the type of thing to go in on your convictions or explanations on the matter with people you see maybe once a year. It's taken some of my friends years to understand where I'm coming from, do I expect people with that mindset to understand it in a few sentences? No, I don't think so...So, anyway...that's my gripe for the weekend...the sad thing is...I didn't expect it from one person that directed it at me. *sigh* What do ya do? Anyway...'til next time...
