Did everything just taste purple?

Okay, so I had the BEST TIME last night. For this entire semester, thus far, my friend, Nate, and I have been carefully trying to hang out but only to fail and avoid each other all together. Anyway...his b-day is Monday and he was having a little get together at one of his favorite bars in the city. So, Aaron and Zack decide to go and I say I will go to b/c I don't want to drive alone. Using my ways of persuasion...I talk Zainab into going and of course then Payam is coming too! YAY! So, we didn't leave until about 11 or so and get there close to midnight. Well, we thought we were there, but we were actually in the parking lot of a liquor store. lol, so I called Nate and he says, "I'm coming to get you--just look for the drunk Jew!" lol, I love that boy. so we find each other in the massive parking lot, not far from the liquor store and go inside the bar. The Park is one of the gay bars in OKC, a place where Nate frequents. He gets me a drink and we hang out for a bit. We met his friends and his 'husband' (as Nate refers to him). We decide to leave there b/c of some things going on and end up at another bar that is 'cowboyish'. But it's in the same strip of bars, it wasn't as exciting as the other place, but it was fun to hang out. Needless to say, we stayed longer than intended, but it was sooo worth it! I haven't had that much fun going out in a long time. Everyone had a good time too. I love my friends! It had been way too long since I had hung out with the regular group. I loved seeing Nate in his element--he is hilarious! My friends are so amazing. Seriously, I know people who would never go to a 'place like that' or would not have fun if they did. Why do I still know these people? Hmmm.... ;) Anyway, long-story short---it was fucking awesome! Not only was it so much fun, but I ended up with some really great quotes for the night...'til next time...
